What do you know about this wonderful healthy plant “the stinging nettle”?

As a naturopath I use it a lot and personally too. The stinging nettle is rich in flavonoids, minerals, calcium, silicium, vitamin A and C and iron and it contains 30% protein.

Spring is the best time to collect it. Take the young leaves only as they sting less. You can either dry the leaves and use them for infusions (great detox in spring as it drains, make sure you drink enough water) or you steam/ boil/ beat the fresh leaves and eat them like a vegetable, add them to your soup or smoothie. ENJOY!😋💖🌿🙏🏾
